An Effective Governing and Ministry Structure
The Session and Board of Deacons of the healthy church are structured in light of the purpose and ministry objectives of the church. Coherence of the various ministry programs exists in terms of their efficiency and integration. The healthy church is committed to long-range planning and preparation for ministry effectiveness. This preparation checks impulsive decision-making, wasted resources, and uncritical as well as under-analyzed policies.

An Effective Financial Plan and Process
The healthy church develops financial resources and allocates those resources according to the mission objectives. Members of the healthy church receive communications about opportunities for investing in the ministry. These members give Biblically and sacrificially, and they have a high trust factor in how these resources are being used. Open communication and accountability provided by checks and balances are in place, and Biblical and ethically accurate financial policies govern the use of the church's resources.

An Effective Physical Plant and Campus
The facilities of the healthy church actually function as an asset to the ministry of the church. Their appearance is attractive, accessible, and visible. The facilities encourage ministry effectiveness by providing the space for ongoing ministry efforts and future expansion, while serving as a witness to the community of the church's commitment to excellence.
