Our adopted military unit
The Women in the Church have adopted Andrea Smedshammer's brother's squad serving overseas. We are putting together care packages to be shipped and are requesting donations. The complete list is at the Welcome Center.
The Women's Ministry seeks to give every woman the opportunity to exercise her gifts and abilities in the work and worship of the church. We want to fulfill our purpose by responding to the Gospel through prayer, study of the Scriptures, and fellowshipping and serving together.
Ongoing Activities
- Weekly Bible Studies
There are two weekly women's Bible studies; Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings. - Ladies Night Out
Periodically our ladies will gather for food, fellowship and a special activity. - Quilting Bee
Periodically some ladies gather to sew and assemble various items, mostly for the Arlington Pregnancy Center.
OnePlus Ministry
OnePlus is a very special and unique ministry to women. It is geared towards those women who are either widows or attend worship services alone.
- Monthly Luncheon
The OnePlus ladies meet on the third Wednesday of each month.
