~ YOUTH MINISTRY ~

Youth ministering in worshipThe goal of the APC Youth Ministry is to help youth grow in their knowledge of God through studying His Word and connect them through Christ-centered relationships with other students and adults in our church. We hope that through their Christ-centered relationships and their deeper knowledge of God that it will stir up hearts of service so that they will become a generation of servants to their community and world.

Ongoing Activities

  • Sunday School
    7th to 12th Grade, 9:30 a.m. in Building C
  • Care Group
    On the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month we meet in the afternoons or evenings for bible study and fellowship.
  • Mission Service Projects
    Once a month we help with local mission’s ministries such as Union Gospel Mission or Mission Arlington.
  • Fellowship ActivitiesYXL 2010
    There are several fun and engaging activities planned throughout the year.

Special Activities

  • New Youth Retreat
    Every year, near the beginning of school, we host a retreat to welcome the new youth.
  • YXL Youth Camp
    YXL is a leadership conference held at Glorieta Conference Center in New Mexico. YXL is geared for senior high youth.
